Journeyman Lineman Position, Spring Creek, NV $17.00 to 25.00 – depending on experience Duties:  Assist in the installation/construction of distribution/ transmission lines, substations, underground trenching and fiber optics LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION §  Required:  High School Graduation §  Required: Qualification as Power Lineman §  Required: CDL drivers license  

Job Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES §  Ability to perform the duties of the lineman trade. §  Ability to read, understand and apply, operating instructions, procedure manuals and health and safety instructions and manuals. §  Ability to instruct junior employees, especially apprentices, in the appropriate procedures relevant to the trade. §  Mechanical skills and the ability to use a variety of equipment and tools. §  Demonstrated ability to safely operate equipment related to power line work including digger (line bed) trucks, bucket trucks, and Backhoes and other power and hand tools associated  with the trade. §  Physical and mental ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
