Description

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Lineman or 4th year Apprentice to join the Xcel Energy team in Roswell, New Mexico! In this challenging and rewarding position, you will perform a variety of lineman duties that involve overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission construction, operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Successful applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and meet the following criteria:

- Must have a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 90 pounds, pass a physical examination and be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions.
- Must pass the Xcel Energy security and drug screening.
- Must be willing to work overtime and be available for after-hours emergency call outs.
- Must live within 20 miles of the Roswell service center.
